Towards Automatic Analytic Evaluation of Massive Feynman Diagrams
نویسندگان
چکیده
A method to calculate two-loop self-energy diagrams of the Standard Model is demonstrated. A direct physical application is the calculation of the two-loop electroweak contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon 1 2 (g − 2) µ. Presently we confine ourselves to a " toy " model with only µ, γ and a scalar particle (Higgs). The algorithm is implemented as a package of computer programs in FORM. For generating and automatically evaluating any number of two-loop self-energy diagrams, a special C-program has been written. This program creates the initial FORM-expression for every diagram generated by QGRAF, executes the corresponding subroutines and sums up the final results.

Two - loop electroweak corrections at high energies †
We discuss two-loop leading and angular-dependent next-to-leading logarithmic electroweak virtual corrections to arbitrary processes at energies above the electroweak scale. The relevant Feynman diagrams involving soft-collinear gauge bosons γ,Z,W have been evaluated in eikonal approximation. We present results obtained from the analytic evaluation of massive loop integrals. To isolate mass sin...
متن کاملOperator approach to analytical evaluation of Feynman diagrams
The operator approach to analytical evaluation of multi-loop Feynman diagrams is proposed. We show that the known analytical methods of evaluation of massless Feynman integrals, such as the integration by parts method and the method of ”uniqueness” (which is based on the star-triangle relation), can be drastically simplified by using this operator approach. To demonstrate the advantages of the ...
متن کاملAlgebraic-Numerical Evaluation of Feynman Diagrams: Two-Loop Self-Energies
A recently proposed scheme for numerical evaluation of Feynman diagrams is extended to cover all two-loop two-point functions with arbitrary internal and external masses. The adopted algorithm is a modification of the one proposed by F. V. Tkachov and it is based on the so-called generalized Bernstein functional relation. On-shell derivatives of self-energies are also considered and their infra...
متن کاملEvaluating Two-Loop massive Operator Matrix Elements with Mellin-Barnes Integrals
The use of Mellin-Barnes integrals became a widespread technique for calculating Feynman diagrams throughout the last years [ 1], in particular to calculate double and triple box-diagrams. In Ref. [ 2], it was possible to expand the scalar two-loop two-point function in all orders in the dimensional regularization parameter ε, using additionally the gluing operation of Feynman diagrams, defined...
متن کاملFeynHelpers: Connecting FeynCalc to FIRE and Package-X
We present a new interface called FeynHelpers that connects FeynCalc, a Mathematica package for symbolic semi-automatic evaluation of Feynman diagrams and calculations in quantum field theory (QFT) to PackageX and FIRE. The former provides a library of analytic results for scalar 1-loop integrals with up to 4 legs, while the latter is a general-purpose tool for reduction of multi-loop scalar in...
